65 Million Americans Brace for Winter Storm: 22 States Under Alerts

More than 65 million people across the United States are under winter weather alerts from California to New York, as a powerful winter storm is sweeping across the US.

The storm is expected to bring heavy snow and freezing rain to the Midwest, Great Lakes, and Northeast regions.

The National Weather Service has warned that the storm could bring “dangerous and potentially life-threatening” conditions, including power outages, icy roads, and extreme cold.

The storm is expected to last through Wednesday and is likely to affect millions of people.
