Alabama Woman Missing After Reporting Toddler on Interstate

Alabama police are searching for a 25-year-old woman who went missing after reporting a toddler walking alone on the side of an interstate. Carlethia “Carlee” Nichole Russell called 911 on Thursday night to alert authorities about the child’s situation. She then stopped to check on the child and contacted a family member, but lost contact with them.

When officers arrived at the scene, they found Russell’s vehicle and some of her belongings, including her phone, but there was no sign of her or the child. The police have not received any reports or calls regarding a missing child.

Carlethia Russell is described as 5 feet 4 inches tall. At the time she disappeared, she was wearing a black t-shirt, black pants, and white Nike shoes.
