Tórshavn, Faroe Islands – The recent earnings conference call held by P/F Bakkafrost provided crucial insights into the company’s performance in the fourth quarter of 2024. Executive leaders Hogni Jakobsen, Chief Financial Officer, and Regin Jacobsen, Chief Executive Officer, outlined key details regarding revenues, operational EBIT, and harvest volumes during the call.

In the fourth quarter, Bakkafrost reported revenues of DKK1,470 million and a group operational EBIT of DKK280 million. The Faroese harvest reached approximately 16,600 tonnes, showing a slight increase compared to the same quarter in the previous year. This marked a decrease from the previous year but demonstrated the company’s ongoing efforts to manage its sourcing effectively.

During the conference call, Hogni Jakobsen emphasized the importance of paying attention to the forward-looking statement disclaimer included in the presentation. He also provided a comprehensive summary of the fourth quarter performance before handing over to CEO Regin Jacobsen to discuss operations in different segments and provide an outlook for the company.

Overall, the conference call offered investors and stakeholders valuable insights into Bakkafrost’s financials, harvest volumes, and operational performance in the seafood industry. The company’s strategic approach to managing its operations and sourcing raw materials continues to be a key focus as it navigates the challenges and opportunities in the market.
