Conor McGregor Returns to The Ultimate Fighter, Vows to Win Combat Sports Title
Conor McGregor is back in the octagon and ready to take on any and all challengers. The former UFC featherweight and lightweight champion is set to appear on the upcoming season of The Ultimate Fighter, which is set to premiere on Tuesday, June 1st.
McGregor’s return to The Ultimate Fighter comes on the heels of his recent announcement that he is planning to make his comeback fight against Michael Chandler. In an exclusive interview with ESPN’s Megan Olivi, McGregor revealed that he is training harder than ever before and believes he is in the best shape of his life.
“I’m here to win titles,” McGregor said. “I’m here to show the world that I’m still the best fighter on the planet. And I’m going to do that by winning the combat sports title.”
McGregor’s appearance on The Ultimate Fighter is sure to create plenty of excitement among MMA fans. The show has a long history of launching the careers of some of the sport’s biggest stars, including McGregor himself.
The UFC has also released a leaked video of McGregor and Chandler’s introductions for The Ultimate Fighter, fueling speculation that the two fighters may be facing off on the show.
