Miami, Florida – Following a heated game between Miami and Houston, Crew Chief Marc Davis provided insight into the ejections that occurred during the match.

Davis explained that the ejection of Fred VanVleet was a result of him questioning a timeout call after a five-second violation. When he re-engaged with Davis and made physical contact, VanVleet was ejected from the game. Ime Udoka was also ejected for unsportsmanlike comments directed at Davis.

Additionally, players Amen Thompson, Tyler Herro, Jalen Green, and Terry Rozier, along with assistant coach Ben Sullivan, were also ejected during the game. Thompson and Herro were involved in a physical altercation, leading to their ejections.
