Manhunt Underway for Gunman in Georgia Mass Shooting
A search is currently underway for a gunman who killed four individuals in Hampton, Georgia, on Saturday morning, according to local police. Authorities are seeking 40-year-old Andre Longmore of Hampton in connection with the shooting of three men and a woman. The names of the victims have not yet been made public.
The incident took place around 10:45 a.m. in the Dogwood Lakes subdivision, located in Hampton, a city approximately 40 miles south of Atlanta. The shooting occurred in at least four different locations in close proximity, as stated during an afternoon press conference held by the police.
Police have identified Longmore as the main suspect and stated that he was last seen driving a 2017 Black GMC Acadia with Georgia license plates. He was reportedly wearing long gray pants and a black shirt with a red tone.
Details concerning the motive behind the shooting are currently unknown, according to authorities who have labeled Longmore as armed and dangerous. In response to the incident, the sheriff’s office has announced a $10,000 reward for any information leading to Longmore’s arrest.
