Miami Heat secures crucial Game 2 victory in 2023 NBA Finals against Denver Nuggets

Miami Heat bounces back in Game 2 of the 2023 NBA Finals against the Denver Nuggets with a 118-110 win, and it seems like Heat coach Erik Spoelstra has shut down a postgame question about Nikola Jokic’s performance.

After the game, Spoelstra was asked about Jokic’s 33-point game, to which he responded, “I’m not gonna answer any questions about Jokic. He had a great game, but we won. Next question.”

The Heat’s victory ties the series at 1-1, and they now head back to Miami for Game 3.

In Denver, the game was a close battle throughout, with the Heat leading 57-52 at halftime. The Nuggets managed to cut the deficit to one point in the third quarter, but the Heat pulled away in the final minutes of the game. Tyler Herro led the way for the Heat with 28 points, while Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo added 23 points each.

Shaq and Chuck from TNT’s Inside the NBA reacted to the game on Bleacher Report, with Shaq praising Herro’s performance and Chuck saying that the Heat’s defense made the difference.

The Ringer also weighed in on the Heat’s win, discussing their next steps for new coaching hires as they continue to make their way to their first championship since 2013.

Meanwhile, Denver7 provided a forecast for Game 2, predicting a close game but ultimately a Nuggets victory.
