Elimination games are set to begin on Wednesday, with the Chicago Bulls facing the Miami Heat and the Sacramento Kings going up against the Dallas Mavericks in the East and West 9/10 games. The victors of these games will advance to face the losing teams from Tuesday’s matchups. However, the losers of the 9/10 games will see their season come to an end.

The Play-In Tournament format, introduced in 2021, sees teams seeded 7-10 in each conference competing for the last two playoff spots. The seventh and eighth seeds battle it out first, followed by the ninth and 10th seeds. The winner of the latter matchup will face the loser of the former game for the No. 8 seed. Those who come up short in the 9/10 games on Wednesday and the 8-seed game on Friday will be eliminated from contention.
