For the second day in a row, travelers at JFK Airport in New York City have been affected by a power disruption that has caused international flights to be canceled.
The International Terminal at JFK Airport has been closed due to the power outage, leaving travelers with few options. One frequent flyer was able to take advantage of the disruption and booked a 16-hour Air New Zealand flight to nowhere. After 8 hours of flying, the flight was forced to make a U-turn and return to Auckland due to the power disruption.
The disruption has also caused other international flights to be canceled. Many travelers have been forced to rebook their flights or find alternative means of transportation.
The cause of the power disruption is still under investigation. In the meantime, travelers are advised to check with their airline for the latest updates on their flights.
