San Diego, California – Jim Harbaugh’s struggles against his brother John continue as the Baltimore Ravens secured a convincing 30-23 victory over the Los Angeles Chargers. This marks John’s third consecutive win against his brother, with the Ravens improving to 8-4 while the Chargers fell to 7-4.
The Chargers, who had been allowing a league-low 14.5 points per game in their first 10 games, faced a formidable opponent in the Ravens on Monday Night Football. Baltimore successfully moved the ball, amassing 389 yards, including 212 rushing yards. They capitalized on five consecutive possessions to overturn a 10-0 deficit, demonstrating their offensive prowess.
Quarterback Lamar Jackson had an impressive performance, going 16-of-22 for 177 yards and two touchdowns, while also running for 15 yards and a touchdown on eight carries. Derrick Henry’s 140 rushing yards on 24 carries, combined with Zay Flowers’ five receptions for 62 yards, contributed significantly to the Ravens’ victory. Rashod Bateman’s 40-yard touchdown catch and Mark Andrews’ 6-yard touchdown reception added to Baltimore’s offensive success.
Despite a late touchdown by the Chargers on Gus Edwards’ 1-yard run, the Ravens secured the win after Isaiah Likely recovered an onside kick. Los Angeles, who lost running back JK Dobbins to a knee injury in the first half, struggled to match Baltimore’s offensive output. Quarterback Justin Herbert completed 21-of-36 passes for 218 yards and a touchdown, in addition to running for 29 yards and a touchdown on four carries. Ladd McConkey’s six receptions for 83 yards were not enough to secure a victory for the Chargers.
