Actor Orlando Brown, best known for his role as Eddie Thomas in the hit Disney Channel series “That’s So Raven”, is set to receive a mental evaluation after his recent arrest in Las Vegas.

Brown was arrested on February 6th for allegedly attacking a female police officer and resisting arrest. He was released from jail on February 7th after posting a $2,000 bond.

Brown’s lawyer, Brandon Sua, has filed a motion for a mental evaluation to determine whether Brown is fit to stand trial. Sua stated that Brown’s mental state is in question due to his past struggles with substance abuse and mental health issues.

The motion for a mental evaluation has been granted by the court and Brown is expected to be evaluated by a team of mental health professionals. The results of the evaluation will be used to determine whether Brown is capable of standing trial in the case.

Brown has been in and out of trouble with the law in the past, including an arrest in 2018 for public intoxication. He has also been open about his struggles with substance abuse and mental health issues.
