“Trump’s Lies and Classified Docs: Retired General Warns of Danger in Shocking Audio Tape Revelation”

Retired General Reacts to Recording of Trump Discussing Classified Documents

A retired general has spoken out about a recording that has surfaced of President Trump discussing classified documents. The recording, which was made by former White House official Omarosa Manigault Newman, captures a conversation in which the president discusses a memo about the deployment of nuclear submarines. The memo was marked “top secret” and was not supposed to be discussed outside of secure facilities.

Retired General Mark Hertling, who served in the US Army for 37 years, called the recording “very dangerous.” Speaking to CNN, Hertling said that the president’s comments showed a lack of understanding about the importance of classified information.

“It’s very clear from this conversation that he doesn’t really understand what he’s talking about,” Hertling said. “He’s just kind of throwing things out there.”

The recording is just the latest controversy to hit the Trump administration. Earlier this week, the president participated in a town hall on Fox News, where he repeated many of his usual lies but did not make any mention of the “big lie” that the election was stolen from him. Meanwhile, former Trump attorney Michael Cohen has said that prosecutors have “their foot on his neck” in the obstruction case against the president.

As the scandals continue to mount, it remains to be seen how much longer the Trump administration can hold on.
