Tensions in the West Bank of Israel have been escalating in recent days, culminating in the death of an Israeli-American man in a terror attack on Sunday.

The American citizen, whose name has not been released, was killed in the attack, according to Fox News. The attack came amid a series of riots in the West Bank, despite ongoing talks between Israeli and Palestinian officials.

Labor chief Amir Peretz has also called for Otzma Yehudit MK Michael Ben-Ari to face incitement charges for his role in inciting the violence, according to The Times of Israel.
