If you are an avid reader or part of the popular culture fandom, you must have dreamt of living in a fictional universe at least once in your life. You might want to be a wizard and attend Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, live in the adventurous world of Middle-earth, or travel through time and space in the TARDIS with the Doctor.
While it is hard to choose just one, the fictional universe that I would most want to live in is the Star Wars universe. Even though the galaxy far, far away is not perfect and has its dark side (pun intended), it is still an exciting and compelling place to be.
One of the reasons why I would choose the Star Wars universe is the impressive range of technology. From the lightsabers to the Death Star, everything is state-of-the-art and advanced. Imagine being able to travel across the galaxy in a matter of seconds or being able to telepathically communicate with people. The possibilities are endless, and the technology itself is reason enough to choose this universe.
Another reason why I would love to live in the Star Wars universe is the diverse array of alien species. The cantina scene in “A New Hope” marvelously displays the variety of life forms that exist in the galaxy. The Star Wars universe is full of cultures and civilizations that provide a rich experience. It would be an adventure just to interact with so many different species and learn about their cultures.
Of course, the Jedi are the heart and soul of the Star Wars universe. The Force and the lightsabers are two of the most iconic elements of this fictional universe. The Jedi order is a noble one, and the teachings of the Jedi are something to aspire to. To be a Jedi would mean dedicating your life to helping people and making a positive difference in the galaxy. It is no wonder that so many fans dream of being a Jedi.
In conclusion, while there are many fictional universes to choose from, the Star Wars galaxy is the one that I would most want to live in.
