15-year-old girl into occult attacks and stabs mother in her sleep

GULFPORT, MS – In a case that has rattled a rural community in Gulfport, a 15-year-old girl faces severe allegations of attempted murder and arson after a harrowing incident involving her own mother. Lexi Jade Brown is being held in an adult detention center on accusations that intertwine with her apparent occult beliefs.

During the early hours of June 14, Gulfport Police were dispatched to a residence on Dee Avenue after receiving reports of an assault. Upon arrival at approximately 2:33 a.m., officers discovered a woman with multiple stab wounds. According to law enforcement, the victim, identified as Brown’s mother, was sleeping when she was abruptly attacked by her daughter wielding a knife.

The struggle eventually led to Brown attempting to set the house ablaze, officials say. Brown’s mother, whose current condition remains undisclosed, was rushed to a local hospital for treatment of her injuries.

In an unusual turn, the teenager has reportedly been candid with detectives regarding her motives for the crime, which she claims were long-standing. Authorities stated that Brown expressed a desire to kill her mother, whom she referred to with derogatory language and accused of suppressing her identity.

The investigation continues as law enforcement endeavors to unravel the specifics of the case, including the peculiar occult elements that may have influenced Brown’s actions.

Brown’s confinement in the Harrison is notable, given her status as a minor in a case that has sparked yet further discussion on the appropriate handling of juvenile suspects. Her bond was set at an exorbitant $1.25 million by Justice Court Judge Nick Patano of District 5.

Despite the charge and the bond set, records show no inmate under Brown’s name currently listed in the Harrison County Adult Detention Center.
