AI-Powered LG Gram Pro Laptops Unveiled: Features, Specs, and More!

Seoul, South Korea – LG has unveiled new additions to its ultra-light Gram and Gram Pro laptop lineup, introducing cloud-based and on-device AI-powered features that push the boundaries of its current laptops.

The new 16-inch Gram Pro is set to become the first Copilot Plus PC in LG’s Gram series, utilizing the Intel Lunar Lake Core Ultra V-Series processors. Meanwhile, the 17-inch Gram Pro and 16-inch 2-in-1 models will feature Intel’s Arrow Lake Core Ultra H-Series processors.

Featuring 2,560 x 1,600 displays, up to 32GB of LPDDR5X memory, and up to 2TB Gen4 NVMe SSDs, the LG Gram Pro will be available in both 17-inch and 16-inch models. The 16-inch Gram Pro and the 16-inch 2-in-1 variant will be equipped with Intel Arc GPUs, while the 17-inch Gram Pro will feature an Nvidia GeForce RTX4050 graphics card.

LG is introducing Gram Chat On-Device, powered by a smaller language model derived from LG AI Research’s EXAONE large language model. This feature enables offline capabilities, including Time Travel, allowing users to quickly revisit recently accessed web pages, documents, videos, and audio files. The software will include tools akin to Microsoft’s Copilot Plus suite and Apple Intelligence.

In addition to these advancements, LG is also rolling out Gram Chat Cloud, powered by OpenAI’s GPT-4o. This feature utilizes vast web-based datasets to provide detailed responses while integrating with calendar and email services. Gram Chat Cloud will only be free for the first year and requires an active internet connection.

Moreover, all the new Gram laptops will support LG’s Gram Link 2.0, streamlining document and file sharing across PCs and smartphones while enabling users to answer phone calls through their laptops. The company is further expanding its laptop offerings by introducing the entry-level Gram Book to the US market next year, featuring an Intel Core i5 processor, a 15.6-inch full HD display, and up to 1TB of SSD storage and 16GB of DDR4 memory.

With these updates, LG is aiming to enhance the user experience by incorporating innovative AI-powered features and seamless connectivity options into its latest laptop lineup.
