VERNAL, UT – A small aircraft with three individuals on board crashed just north of Vernal Regional Airport, prompting a response from the Vernal City Police Department on Wednesday morning. The incident occurred at approximately 10:30 a.m. local time.

Upon arrival at the scene, officers discovered the downed plane in a grass field and found that all three occupants had sustained only minor injuries. Paramedics assessed their condition on-site before releasing them.
