According to ESPN, warrants have been issued for the arrest of Jalen Carter, an ex-Georgia star and NFL draft prospect, in connection with the crash. CNN reported that Carter is facing charges in connection with the fatal crash.
NBC Sports reported that Carter was present at the scene of the fatal crash involving one of his teammates and misled police about it.
The incident has caused the Indianapolis Colts, who were reportedly interested in drafting Carter, to reconsider their draft strategy, according to Sports Illustrated.
Carter has yet to comment on the incident.
