Bachelor Nation’s Sarah Herron and fiancé Dylan Brown have shared the devastating news that their baby has died.

The couple, who met on the show Bachelor in Paradise, announced the heartbreaking news on social media.

Herron, who gave birth to her son at 24 weeks pregnant, shared on Instagram that her baby died shortly after being born.

“We were blessed with a beautiful, perfect little boy,” Herron wrote. “Dylan and I are beyond devastated. He was born so strong and fought so hard to stay with us. His little heart was too perfect for this world.”

The couple also shared that their son, whom they named James Timothy Brown, was born at 24 weeks, and that he passed away just hours after being born.

“We are so thankful for the time we had with him and the love and support we have received from all of you,” the couple wrote.
