ORLANDO, FLORIDA – In a riveting new A&E special, the parents of Casey Anthony, who was acquitted in the highly publicized trial of her daughter Caylee’s death, took polygraph tests regarding the young girl’s tragic demise. The new special comes just weeks after Casey herself appeared in a Peacock docuseries to once again shed light on the case.

Caylee Anthony’s death has remained a mystery since 2008, when the two-year-old disappeared and her remains were later found in a wooded area near her grandparents’ Orlando home. Despite being initially charged in connection with her daughter’s death, Casey Anthony was found not guilty in a 2011 trial, attracting widespread media attention.

In her first on-camera interview since the trial, Casey revealed that she has been working as a research assistant for Patrick McKenna, the lead investigator of her defense team, for the past decade. McKenna offered her a job and a place to live after her release, and she has been living with him in Florida.

Though her life has taken unexpected and controversial turns, she continues to grapple with the fallout from the highly publicized case.

In 2022, Casey blamed her father for Caylee’s death, once again thrusting the case into the national spotlight. The case remains one of the most perplexing and tragic events in recent memory.
