Costa Rica Officials Rule Out Asphyxiation in Death of Brett Gardner’s Son – Shocking New Details Revealed!

Manuel Antonio, Costa Rica – Authorities in Costa Rica have ruled out asphyxiation as the cause of death for 14-year-old Miller Gardner, son of former New York Yankees outfielder Brett Gardner, officials confirmed on Tuesday.

The Gardners announced their son’s passing after falling ill with a sudden illness while on vacation in Manuel Antonio, a town on the Pacific coast of Costa Rica. The family reportedly became sick, likely due to food poisoning from a meal they ate during their stay.

According to Costa Rica’s Judicial Investigation Police (OIJ), the family dined at a different hotel than where they were staying, resulting in stomach discomfort for everyone upon returning to their accommodations. The hotel’s doctor provided treatment for upset stomachs, but tragically, Miller Gardner was found deceased the following morning in his hotel room.

The OIJ is currently reviewing security footage and interviewing hotel employees to gather more information about the incident. Additionally, they are awaiting the results of pathological exams and toxicology tests to determine the exact cause of death.

In a statement, Brett and Jessica Gardner described their son as a beloved individual who enjoyed sports, outdoor activities, and spending time with loved ones. Brett Gardner, a former MLB player with the New York Yankees, retired in 2021 after a successful 14-season career with the team.

The family has expressed profound grief over the loss of Miller, highlighting his vibrant personality and love for life. As the investigation continues, authorities are working diligently to uncover the truth behind the tragic event in Costa Rica.
