MIAMI, FL – The former boyfriend of Princess Beatrice, Paolo Liuzzo, tragically passed away from a suspected drug overdose at a hotel in Miami. Police were called to the scene at the citizenM Miami Worldcenter hotel on February 7, where Liuzzo’s death was confirmed at 3.34pm that day. The police are currently investigating his death as a drug overdose.

Liuzzo, 41, was known for his romantic involvement with Princess Beatrice when she was 17 and he was 24. Their relationship became public in 2005 during a skiing holiday with Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson.
