Raleigh, North Carolina – As Election Day approaches, political candidates are intensifying their efforts to secure crucial battleground states. Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump are both set to campaign in North Carolina and Wisconsin today, hoping to sway undecided voters in these key states.
Harris is scheduled to deliver remarks at a campaign event in Raleigh, North Carolina at 12:30 p.m. ET, followed by another event in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania at 4:35 p.m. ET. She will then head to the University of Wisconsin in Madison, Wisconsin at 9:30 p.m. ET, where musical artists Gracie Abrams, Mumford & Sons, and Remi Wolf will perform as part of the campaign’s initiative to engage college students during early voting in battleground states.
Meanwhile, Trump will kick off his day with a rally in Rocky Mount, North Carolina at 1 p.m. ET, followed by another rally in Green Bay, Wisconsin at 7 p.m. ET, where former NFL quarterback Brett Favre is set to be a guest speaker. In the evening, part two of Trump’s pre-taped interview with Sean Hannity will air on Fox News’ “Hannity” at 9 p.m. ET.
On the vice presidential front, Tim Walz participated in morning interviews with “Good Morning America” and “CBS Mornings” before joining a political event in Charlotte, North Carolina at 1 p.m. ET. He will continue with a series of stops in Greensboro to encourage early voting for Harris and Democrats down the ballot, culminating in an event in Asheville, NC in the evening.
Additionally, Vance will deliver remarks at a town hall with former Rep. Tulsi Gabbard in Bedford, Pennsylvania at 5:30 p.m. ET. He is also expected to travel to Austin, Texas to tape an interview on Joe Rogan’s podcast, set to be released later in the week.
With the candidates making their final pitches to voters in critical states, the race to the finish line becomes increasingly intense as Election Day draws near.
