Tech mogul Elon Musk has announced that the end of 2023 is the best time to appoint a new owner for Twitter.
In an interview with Al Jazeera English, Musk said that he is aiming to appoint his successor as CEO of the social media platform by the end of 2023. Musk added that this would be a “good timing” for the new owner to take over the platform.
CNBC reported that Musk is already in the process of finding a suitable candidate to replace him as CEO of Twitter. He is reportedly looking for someone who has the right skills to lead the company and take it to the next level.
The Wall Street Journal reported that Musk believes the new CEO could be named by the end of the year. He said that the process is already underway and he is confident that the new CEO will be in place by the end of 2023.
Gulf News reported that the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) is also walking the talk and looking for ways to make sure that the new CEO is appointed without any delays.
Finally, Reuters reported that Musk believes the end of 2023 is the perfect time to find a new head for Twitter. He said that this would be the best time to make sure the transition goes smoothly.
