Gaming Monitor Revolution: LG Unveils World’s First 5K2K OLED Bendable Display at CES 2025

Las Vegas, Nevada – LG has unveiled its latest collection of gaming monitors at the 2025 Consumer Electronics Show (CES). The highlight of the lineup is the UltraGear OLED Bendable Gaming Monitor, which boasts being the world’s first 5K2K-resolution bendable OLED display. With a 45-inch screen offering an expansive resolution of 5120×2160, LG is setting a new standard in gaming monitor technology.

The UltraGear OLED Bendable Gaming Monitor comes with a 21:9 aspect ratio, providing a more immersive gaming experience than standard 16:9 displays. LG claims that it strikes a balance between gameplay and productivity, making it versatile for different uses. The monitor can transition from a flat screen to a curved 900R, allowing users to customize various settings effortlessly, including resolution and refresh rate presets.

In addition to the bendable model, LG is also introducing a non-bendable version with a permanent 800R curve. Both monitors share the same 45-inch size, aspect ratio, and 5K2K resolution, promising sharp, lifelike images with vibrant colors and exceptional contrast. Common features include a fast response time of 0.03ms (GtG) and support for DisplayPort 2.1, HDMI 2.1, and USB-C with 90W power delivery.

Alongside the monitors, LG is launching the curved UltraGear 39GX90SA, a webOS-powered entertainment hub with access to streaming services. This model, equipped with USB Type-C ports, maintains the 21:9 aspect ratio and 800R curve for an enhanced viewing experience. LG’s focus on connectivity and ergonomic design is evident in the incorporation of an L-shaped stand for a clutter-free desk setup.
