Glover Teixeira Retires After Epic Octagon Battle: Jamahal Hill Wins UFC 283 Title

At UFC 283 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Glover Teixeira faced off against Jamahal Hill in what was to be Teixeira’s retirement fight. In the end, Hill dominated the bout, winning the UFC title and sending Teixeira into retirement.

The night was full of action, with Ismael Bonfim delivering a ridiculous flying knee KO to put Terrance McKinney out cold.

The main event between Teixeira and Hill was a battle, but Hill eventually emerged victorious. After the fight, Hill spoke to the Octagon about his win and Teixeira’s retirement.

“I’m so happy to have won the title and to have sent Glover into retirement on a high note. He is a great fighter and I wish him the best in his future endeavors,” said Hill.
