The world has been waiting for actor Austin Butler’s take on the iconic role of Elvis Presley in Baz Luhrmann’s upcoming biopic. Now, Butler has finally revealed his take on Presley’s iconic accent.
In an interview with “GQ” magazine, Butler revealed that he worked with a dialect coach for months to perfect Presley’s accent. Butler said he wanted to make sure he could “capture the essence of Elvis” and that he was “trying to get the accent as close to perfect as possible.”
