On January 26th, tragedy struck Half Moon Bay, California when a mass shooting occurred at a local farm. The suspect, who has since been identified, has made claims that he was bullied at his job, leading to the shooting.
The suspect has since been interviewed in jail and admitted to the shooting.
The shooting has highlighted the deplorable conditions that many farmworkers in the area have been living in. According to reports, farmworkers were allegedly paid only $9 an hour and lived in unacceptable conditions.
One of the victims of the shooting was a gentle soul, accordion player, and mushroom lover, who was mourned by the community.
The community of Half Moon Bay is still reeling from the tragedy and is calling for justice.
