JetBlue Pilot’s Quick Thinking Averts Potential Collision at Boston Airport

A potential disaster was averted at Boston Logan Airport on Tuesday as a JetBlue flight narrowly avoided colliding with a Learjet.

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is now investigating the incident, which is being referred to as a “close call” between the two aircraft.

According to the FAA, the JetBlue pilot was attempting to land at the airport when they noticed the Learjet on the runway. The JetBlue pilot was able to quickly adjust their trajectory and land safely without any further incident.

The incident was reported by witnesses on the ground who saw the two aircraft come close to each other.

“I was at the airport to pick up my brother when I saw the two planes coming in close proximity,” said one witness. “It was a scary sight. I’m glad no one was hurt.”

The FAA is now conducting a thorough investigation into the incident to determine what caused the close call and to prevent similar incidents from occurring in the future.

No injuries were reported and the airport operations returned to normal shortly after the incident.
