“Jonathan Majors” Found Guilty in Domestic Assault Trial – Sentencing Details Revealed!

NEW YORK (AP) — Actor Jonathan Majors has been found guilty on two of four charges in his trial for domestic assault allegations. The jury convicted Majors of third-degree assault, recklessly causing physical injury, and second-degree harassment. He was, however, found not guilty of second-degree aggravated harassment and an additional third-degree assault charge, intent to cause physical harm.

The actor’s sentencing has been scheduled for Feb. 6, and a new order of protection has been issued, barring him from any contact with his ex-girlfriend Grace Jabbari. Prosecutors said that Majors assaulted and harassed Jabbari, his girlfriend at the time, on March 25 inside an SUV in Manhattan. The incident left Jabbari with a fractured finger.

Throughout the trial, Jabbari testified that she saw a text on Majors’ phone from another woman expressing a desire to kiss him, which led to a physical altercation. Prosecutors stated that Majors had been abusive for months before the incident, while Majors’ defense argued that Jabbari was the instigator that night.

Jonathan Majors, known for his roles in “Creed III” and Marvel’s “Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania,” attended each day of the trial with his current girlfriend, Meagan Good, by his side, but he did not take the stand.

Majors now faces up to a year in prison, and the judge has issued a new order of protection against him. The actor was found guilty of third-degree assault and second-degree harassment, while he was acquitted of second-degree aggravated harassment and an additional third-degree assault charge. His sentencing has been scheduled for Feb. 6.
