The Los Angeles Lakers have been hit with yet another injury setback, as star forward Anthony Davis has been ruled out for Wednesday’s game against the Memphis Grizzlies due to a foot injury.
Davis, who is already missing teammate LeBron James due to an ankle injury, joins the growing list of Lakers players sidelined due to injury. The team is already without guard Dennis Schroder, who is out with a calf strain, and forward Kyle Kuzma, who is nursing a sore Achilles.
The Grizzlies, meanwhile, are relatively healthy with just one player listed as questionable for Wednesday’s game. Jaren Jackson Jr. is listed as questionable due to a hip injury, but he is expected to play.
The Lakers and Grizzlies will both be without some of their key players for Wednesday’s game, but both teams are still expected to put on a show. Jackson Jr. is coming off an impressive performance against the Lakers earlier this month, when he put on a show with an incredible sequence of plays late in the game.
The Lakers and Grizzlies will tip-off at 8 p.m. EST. The game will be broadcast on ESPN.
