Mahomes Injury No Match for Kansas City: Jaguars Fall Short in AFC Divisional Round Game

The Kansas City Chiefs held off the Jacksonville Jaguars in a thrilling Division Round game on Sunday. Despite the Chiefs’ star quarterback Patrick Mahomes suffering an ankle injury in the second quarter, the Chiefs managed to come out on top.

National experts had predicted that the Chiefs would win the game, and they were right. Mahomes was able to shake off the injury and lead the team to an AFC Championship. He ended the game with two touchdowns and a total of 256 yards.

The Chiefs’ victory was part of a weekend of upsets and juggernauts in the NFL playoffs. Underdogs such as the Chiefs and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers managed to beat out more established teams like the Jaguars and the New Orleans Saints.

The Chiefs will now face the Buffalo Bills in the AFC Championship game. The Bills had an impressive win against the Baltimore Ravens in the Division Round.
