Man Charged with Murder in Stabbing Death of Girlfriend in Presidio Heights, San Francisco

SAN FRANCISCO (AP) — A 29-year-old man has been charged with murder in the stabbing death of his 27-year-old girlfriend in San Francisco’s Presidio Heights neighborhood, the San Francisco District Attorney’s Office announced Monday.

Scott Fisher has been accused of fatally stabbing Kimberly Wong at her home in the 3200 block of Clay Street. Wong was discovered on Nov. 30 when officers conducted a welfare check at her residence. Despite their efforts to aid her, she was pronounced dead at the scene.

According to her LinkedIn page, Wong worked as a product designer at Plaid, a financial services company based in San Francisco.

Fisher was apprehended in Concord on Dec. 7 and now faces charges of suspicion of homicide. He is set to be arraigned on Monday, with the potential of facing 26 years to life in state prison if convicted.

District Attorney Brooke Jenkins offered her condolences to the victim’s loved ones and ensured the community of their commitment to pursuing justice in the courtroom. Jenkins emphasized the importance of accountability and justice in this tragic incident.
