Man packs small child as he robs bank in Texas Walmart

FORT WORTH, TX – Federal investigators are seeking assistance in finding a man accused of robbing a bank while accompanied by a young child. The incident occurred on June 6 at a First Convenience Bank branch inside a Walmart in Fort Worth, Texas.

Authorities report that the suspect approached the teller’s window with a child seated in a shopping cart and handed over a note demanding cash. After receiving an undisclosed sum of money, the man reportedly pushed the cart towards the exit and fled the scene with the child in his arms.

The FBI says the suspect is a white male in his mid-30s to mid-40s, standing between 5’7″ and 5’9″ with a thin build. His attire included a multicolored fishing shirt, khaki cargo shorts, and HeyDude brand shoes. To help conceal his identity, he was wearing a baseball cap and black sunglasses at the time of the robbery.

Local residents have expressed dismay at the involvement of a child in the crime. Fort Worth community member Flora Chavez remarked on the moral implications, stating it was unthinkable for someone to place a child in such a dangerous situation. Another resident, Shirley Ingram, speculated that the suspect might have used the child as a safeguard against potential intervention during the crime.

The FBI has issued a call for tips and leads from the public, encouraging anyone with information to come forward and contact the Dallas FBI office.

As the FBI continues its investigation, questions about the safety of customers and employees, as well as the welfare of the child involved, remain at the forefront of community concerns.
