Mass Shooting in San Francisco Leaves Nine Injured, One in Critical Condition

SAN FRANCISCO – A mass shooting incident in San Francisco resulted in nine people being injured. The shooter is still at large and is considered to be armed and dangerous.

The incident took place in the city’s Mission District on Monday night. According to witnesses, the shooter opened fire on a group of people gathered on the street, causing panic and chaos.

Police officials have confirmed that nine people were injured in the shooting, with one person still in critical condition. The other eight victims are in stable condition and are being treated at local hospitals.

“It’s just senseless,” said San Francisco Mayor London Breed in a statement. “We are all heartbroken and outraged by this senseless act of violence.”

Police have launched a massive manhunt for the shooter and have appealed to the public for any information that may lead to their arrest. The shooter is believed to be armed and is considered to be extremely dangerous.

“Anyone with information is urged to come forward,” said San Francisco Police Chief Bill Scott. “We are doing everything in our power to apprehend the suspect and bring them to justice.”

The shooting has once again raised concerns about gun violence in America. Earlier this year, President Biden announced a series of executive actions aimed at reducing gun violence in the country.

“Our hearts go out to the victims and their families,” said President Biden in a statement. “We must do more to end senseless gun violence in our communities.”
