MUSHROOM-INFUSED CHOCOLATE BARS HOSPITALIZE DOZENS: FDA INVESTIGATION ONGOING

Las Vegas, Nevada – A recent trend of consuming “microdosing” chocolate bars for a supposed “peace of mind” has led to a rise in hospitalizations across several states, according to a recent report from the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). The FDA issued a warning about Diamond Shruumz, a company specializing in these products, after multiple individuals required hospitalization due to consuming the chocolate bars and gummies. Initially, six people were hospitalized after ingesting the products, but that number has now increased to at least 10 hospitalizations, with an additional two individuals seeking medical care.

The FDA has advised consumers to avoid eating, selling, or serving Diamond Shruumz-Brand Microdosing Chocolate Bars. These products have been distributed nationally, with reported hospitalizations in states such as Alabama, Kentucky, Missouri, Nevada, South Carolina, and Pennsylvania. Notably, four hospitalizations were recorded in Arizona, and two were reported in Indiana. Those who consumed the “microdosing” products experienced severe symptoms, including seizures, abnormal heart rates, nausea, and vomiting.

Despite being marketed as “microdosing,” Diamond Shruumz claims that their products do not contain psilocybin, a psychedelic substance. The company assures consumers that their products offer a safe and enjoyable experience, devoid of any scheduled drugs. However, individuals who fell ill after consuming the products reported a range of severe symptoms, prompting concerns about the safety and efficacy of these “microdosing” chocolate bars.

In response to these incidents, both the FDA and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention are conducting investigations into the matter. While Fox News Digital reached out to Diamond Shruumz for comment, no response has been received thus far. As the probe continues, it is essential for consumers to remain cautious about the potential risks associated with these products and to prioritize their health and safety above all else.
