Passenger opens plane door mid-flight, injuring 12

In a terrifying incident aboard an Asiana Airlines flight from South Korea to Thailand, a passenger opened one of the emergency exits mid-flight, causing chaos and injuring 12 people.

According to reports, the passenger, believed to be a Korean national in her 60s, opened the door about an hour before the plane was scheduled to land in Bangkok. The sudden drop in air pressure caused passengers to scream and panic, with some even attempting to jump out of the plane.

Despite the chaos, the plane was able to make an emergency landing at Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi Airport, where the injured were taken to hospital for treatment. None of the injuries are believed to be life-threatening.

It is not yet clear why the passenger opened the emergency exit, but authorities have launched an investigation into the incident.

Asiana Airlines has apologized for the incident, saying that the safety and security of its passengers is its top priority. “We will do everything we can to ensure that this never happens again,” a spokesperson for the airline said.
