The Prime Minister and his government are facing yet another scandal as an investigation into allegations of bullying by Foreign Secretary Dominic Raab has been launched.
The probe was announced after Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer called Chancellor Rishi Sunak “weak” over his handling of the scandal during Prime Minister’s Questions.
The Guardian reported that No 10 had refused to deny whether Sunak had been given an informal warning about Raab’s behaviour before he was appointed deputy Prime Minister.
The Financial Times reported that the scandal was likely to dent Sunak’s ratings further, while The Independent suggested that Prime Minister’s Questions should have come with a trigger warning.
The BBC reported that the scandal was yet another ticking time bomb for the Prime Minister.
It remains to be seen how the Prime Minister will handle the situation, with the investigation ongoing.
