President Joe Biden’s Motorcade Under Attack: Shocking Incident Unfolds Leaving Campaign Headquarters

WILMINGTON, Del. – President Joe Biden and first lady Jill Biden were unharmed when a car crashed into a parked SUV that was part of the president’s motorcade Sunday night. The incident occurred as the president was leaving a visit to his campaign headquarters.

As Biden was walking from the campaign office to his waiting armored SUV, a sedan hit a U.S. Secret Service vehicle that was being used to close off intersections near the headquarters for the president’s departure. The sedan then attempted to continue into a closed-off intersection before being surrounded by Secret Service personnel with weapons drawn.

Although surprised by the sound of the crash, Biden was quickly ushered into the vehicle, where his wife was already seated, and they were driven swiftly back to their home. Despite the incident, the president’s schedule was unaffected.

According to Steve Kopek, a U.S. Secret Service spokesman, the president’s motorcade departed without incident, and local Wilmington police were handling the crash, indicating that the driver was not considered a serious threat to the president.

The U.S. Secret Service and local authorities handled the situation efficiently, ensuring the safety of the president and those around him. No injuries were reported, and the president’s schedule proceeded as planned following the incident.
