Priscilla Presley, the former wife of the late Elvis Presley, is challenging her daughter Lisa Marie Presley’s trust amendment that was recently approved. Priscilla is claiming that her daughter’s trust amendment is fraudulent.
The amendment to Lisa Marie Presley’s trust named her daughter Riley Keough as a co-trustee. Priscilla has filed paperwork objecting to this amendment and has also filed a petition to the court to invalidate the amendment.
In an Access Hollywood interview, Priscilla said, “I am not going to stand by and allow this trust amendment to go through without challenging it. I feel that my daughter’s trust has been manipulated and that this amendment is fraudulent.”
Priscilla has also filed a lawsuit against Lisa Marie’s trust, claiming that the amendment was made without her knowledge or consent. She is seeking to have the amendment invalidated and is also seeking damages.
The Daily Beast reported that Priscilla is asking the court to appoint a new trustee to manage Lisa Marie’s trust. Yahoo Entertainment reported that Priscilla is also asking the court to appoint a guardian ad litem to represent Lisa Marie’s interests.
The New York Post reported that Priscilla is accusing Lisa Marie of fraud in her trust amendment. Priscilla is hoping to have the amendment overturned and is seeking damages for the alleged fraud.
It remains to be seen what the outcome of Priscilla’s challenge will be.
