Rampage in West Bank as Palestinian Gunman Kills 2 Israeli Settlers

Two Israeli settlers were killed in the West Bank on Wednesday after a Palestinian gunman opened fire on them. The attack sparked outrage among Israeli settlers and their supporters, who took to the streets in a violent rampage.

The Israeli government has condemned the attack and vowed to bring the perpetrator to justice. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office issued a statement saying “the government of Israel will not tolerate such acts of terror and will take all necessary measures to ensure the security of its citizens.”

The attack occurred near the settlement of Yitzhar, which is a heavily guarded area. The Palestinian gunman was identified as 21-year-old Israa Abbass, who was killed by Israeli forces during the incident.

The two victims of the attack were identified as 18-year-old Yitzhak Jurgeles and 17-year-old Shira Ben-Shalom. Both were students at a nearby religious school.

In response to the attack, Israeli settlers and their supporters have been protesting in the West Bank, blocking roads and clashing with Israeli security forces. They have also been calling for revenge against the Palestinian people.

The Israeli government has called for restraint and has urged both sides to avoid further escalation. In the meantime, the government has increased security in the West Bank and is working to prevent further violence.
