Giant Burmese Python Captured in Florida Sets Record

A gigantic Burmese python was recently captured in Florida, making it the largest one ever caught in the state. The snake measured a stunning 19 feet in length and weighed a whopping 125 pounds. Waleri, a 22-year-old native of Naples, stated that the intention behind catching this enormous python was to donate it to science. While this python holds the record for being the longest captured in Florida, it is not the heaviest. That title belongs to a female python captured last year, which weighed a staggering 215 pounds.
