The Great American Race has come to a close with Ricky Stenhouse Jr. taking home the checkered flag at the 2023 Daytona 500.

Stenhouse Jr. held off a hard-charging field of NASCAR’s best drivers to win the season-opening race. It was a wild affair that saw plenty of lead changes and a few crashes, but ultimately Stenhouse Jr. was able to stay out front when it mattered most.

The race was held under mostly clear skies, but there were a few showers in the area that threatened to delay the race. Fortunately, those showers stayed away and the race was able to go on as planned.

The race was also highlighted by some of the best moments in NASCAR history. Drivers such as Brad Keselowski, Kyle Busch, and Denny Hamlin were all in contention for the win, making it a nail-biting finish.

For Stenhouse Jr., it was a dream come true. He had been close to winning the Daytona 500 in the past, but this time he was able to get it done.
