Russia Launches Missile Strike on Ukraine, U.S. and Europe Show “Direct Involvement” in War

In the most recent escalation of the ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine, Russian missiles have been launched at Ukraine, and Russia has warned the West about tank pledges.

The missiles have targeted Kyiv, and many Ukrainians have been forced to take shelter in a metro station. Russia has also sanctioned a Russian mercenary group.

In a statement, Russia claims that the promised tanks show the United States and Europe’s “direct involvement” in the war is “growing.”

The current state of Russia’s military arsenal is vast, and includes advanced technologies such as hypersonic missiles and nuclear-powered cruise missiles.

The conflict between Russia and Ukraine has been ongoing since 2014, when Russia annexed Crimea. Since then, both sides have traded accusations of aggression and violations of the Minsk agreements.

The international community has so far been unable to broker a lasting peace between the two countries, and the latest missile strikes have increased tensions even further.
