LOS ANGELES, California: Prominent Hollywood heir Sam Haskell IV was charged with three counts of murder on Monday in connection with the disappearance of his wife, Mei Haskell, and her parents, Goashan Li and Yanxiang Wang. Mei Haskell’s headless torso was found in a garbage bag near the family’s home, where her parents had been living after emigrating from China. The suspected remains of Mei Haskell, 37, were recovered, while the whereabouts of her parents remain unknown.

Haskell, 35, the son of a movie producer and a beauty queen actress, appeared in Los Angeles Superior Court before Judge Kimberley Baker Guillemet for the suspected murders. He faces three counts of murder with a special circumstance allegation of multiple murders committed together. During the court appearance, Haskell remained mostly silent and was ordered held without bail until his next appearance on December 8.

Surveillance videos captured a thin man disposing of a large bag, believed to contain Mei Haskell’s torso, in a dumpster in a crowded parking lot. Police also found evidence of blood and other materials in Haskell’s home during a search. District Attorney George Gascon assured the community that justice would be served for the victims.

Haskell’s parents, well-known Hollywood figures Sam Haskell III and Mary Donnelly Haskell, were involved in the entertainment industry, with the father serving as a talent agent for A-list stars. The case has shocked the community, and friends of Mei Haskell showed support at the court hearing, expressing their longing for justice.

The search for Mei Haskell’s parents continues, while the horrifying crimes have sent shockwaves through the community. Authorities are determined to bring justice to the victims and their loved ones during this terrible time.
