One of the most eye-catching displays was Samsung’s new Micro LED TV lineup, which comes in five ready-to-use sizes ranging from 76 inches to a whopping 140 inches. This modular TV can be custom-built using multiple Micro LED panels, allowing for a display of any size and shape. The company did not disclose pricing information, but given past trends, consumers can expect these state-of-the-art TVs to come with a hefty price tag.

Micro LED technology sets these TVs apart, with each pixel capable of producing its own backlight and colors. This eliminates the need for a separate backlight, resulting in perfect blacks without the drawbacks associated with OLED TVs. Additionally, these TVs boast exceptional brightness, delivering outstanding HDR performance and featuring 4K resolution with 120Hz and 240Hz variants. Samsung also touted a more advanced and reliable manufacturing process for these TVs, dubbed “Laser Lift Off.”

Another notable showcase was Samsung’s Transparent Micro LED TV panel, designed for business-to-business segments such as retail stores and advertising. This see-through Micro LED panel is not yet ready for sale but offers a glimpse into the future of display technology. Overall, Samsung’s CES 2024 presentation left a lasting impression on attendees, showcasing the company’s commitment to pushing the boundaries of TV innovation.
