HACKENSACK, NJ – In a chilling interview, Richard Cottingham, a notorious serial killer known as ‘The Times Square killer,’ revealed the disturbing reasons behind his horrific crimes. Cottingham, who claims to have raped and murdered at least 18 women between 1967 and 1980, shed light on his twisted mindset during a conversation with journalist Nadia Fezzani in 2011.

During the interview, Cottingham shockingly admitted to mutilating one of his victims by cutting off her breast for what he described as “sensationalism.” He callously expressed his enjoyment and thrill in carrying out these grotesque acts, describing it as a twisted game and a powerful aphrodisiac.
