Actress Shannen Doherty has filed for divorce from her husband, Kurt Iswarienko, after 11 years of marriage, according to reports. Doherty, who is best known for her roles in “Beverly Hills 90210” and “Charmed,” cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split. TMZ reported that the couple had been separated since late 2019 and that Doherty has asked for spousal support.

In an interview with Page Six, Doherty said she had “no other option” but to file for divorce. “We had a great relationship and I’m sorry that it’s ending in this way,” she said. “But I have to do what’s best for me and my health.”

Doherty has been battling breast cancer since 2015 and has been open about her struggles with the disease. In 2020, she announced that her cancer had returned and had spread to her lymph nodes.

Doherty and Iswarienko were married in 2011 in Malibu, California. Iswarienko is a photographer and has worked on shows such as “Shameless” and “Glee.”
