Russian tourist killed in Egypt by tiger shark

A Russian tourist was mauled to death by a tiger shark while swimming off the coast of Egypt’s Red Sea on Thursday. The attack was caught on camera by other tourists at the beach.

According to witnesses, the victim was a 37-year-old man from Russia. He was swimming in the water when the shark suddenly attacked him, dragging him underwater.

Tourists who witnessed the attack alerted lifeguards, who rushed to the scene. They were able to retrieve the victim’s body from the water, but he had already died from his injuries.
