After being sent to jail for life, two Facebook profiles paint a grim picture of Graham, showcasing a persona that is a stark contrast to what she is charged with.

The message on Graham’s profiles, “Those who hesitate have lost”, becomes ironic given her unapologetic defense. The judge accused Graham of displaying deep-seated psychopathy during her trial. Graham orchestrated a heinous crime to inherit Saunders’ wealth. She had consorted her boyfriend, Peter Koenig, and another associate, Gregory Roser, to bring her nightmarish crime to life.

Graham had started a relationship with Mr. Saunders after meeting online in 2016. She followed him to different places before planning to take all from Mr. Saunders and cover up her involvement. She had also developed relationships with both Koenig and Roser. Graham’s methods of planning varied from attempting to shoot Mr. Saunders to finally deciding to feed him into an industrial woodchipper.

Graham’s murderous plans came to fruition when Mr. Saunders was enlisted to clear trees at a friend’s property. Then, Roser and Koenig carried out the act of disposing of Mr. Saunders’ body. Koenig eventually pleaded guilty to a charge of accessory after the fact to the murder. His collaboration led to the convictions of both Roser and Graham. Roser was later convicted of Mr. Saunders’ murder and was sentenced to life in prison.

Although Graham pleaded not guilty, the jury found her guilty on the count of murder. Supreme Court Justice Martin Burns accused her of deep-seated psychopathy. The pain of losing Mr. Saunders is felt most keenly by his son, Blake. He spoke of the betrayal he felt from Graham, who had pretended to cry at the funeral.
